ORGANIZATIONAL CHART
parents |
All parents of K-9 students receive the Tier 1 letter electronically at the beginning of the school year. This letter is posted on the FPS website and a paper version provided to new families upon registration.
Tier 2 and Tier 3 letters are sent home once data has been reviewed and plans for intervention have been identified.
At this point all Tier 2 and Tier 3 parent communications are paper. We moving toward electronically communicating this information with parents.
TeachersAll teachers are pointed to the Fraser Curriculum Weebly for all assessment and curricular information. There they find the schedule of all assessments expected to be administered as well as corresponding assessment numbers in Illuminate, our data management system. They utilize our DPPD site for training and as reference for program utlization.
Tier One As a district, we are very transparent about the Tier One academic instruction that every student should be receiving. We outline the amount of instructional time that should be spent in each core content area each day (ie. 90 minute block ELA instruction K-6, 54 minute block 7-8, 90 minute block 9-12) . Additionally we have standardized the instructional content. We are also working to standardize the instructional delivery in our classrooms by leveraging UDL principles. Our Tier One SEL instruction involves school wide PBIS as well as Second Steps Lessons delivered weekly in all K-8 classes. We have also incorporated principles of Restorative Justice K-12, training all staff in support of this initiative. Tier Two We have clearly defined with our instructional staff that Tier Two instruction take place in addition to Tier One. At the elementary, Tier Two Intervention is delivered to small groups (5-8 students) and is scheduled 20 - 30 minutes 3-5 days/week. At the secondary level students lose an elective and are scheduled for a course intervention. At all levels, interventions are research based and have been identified centrally. Students are scheduled for the intervention that meets students instructional need. Tier Three Again, we have clearly defined with our instructional staff that Tier Three instruction take place in addition to Tier One. At the elementary Intervention is delivered to smaller groups (2-4 students) and is scheduled for a longer period of time 30 - 45 minutes 4-5 days/week. Again, at the secondary level students lose an elective and are scheduled for a course intervention. At all levels, interventions are research based and have been identified centrally. Students are scheduled for the intervention that meets students instructional need.
administratorsAdministrators are pointed to the Fraser Curriculum Weebly for all assessment and curricular information. This is where they can review which assessments are expected to be administered. The assessment data is accessed in Illuminate. Data walls have been created and shared, allowing administrators to review their building level data, which has been sorted and interpreted according to the District Data Points.
